The first step in terms of finding out what help is available for you is to talk with the staff at BOICO. They are in the best position to advise what sort of help is available, any associated costs, and how to access it.

Outside of BOICO, talking with your GP is also important as they will be able to put you in contact with different agencies and help you access help. They will also be able to provide you with referral to a local Psychologist via a ‘Mental Health Care Plan’. This plan is supported by Medicare, which means that your sessions with a psychologist will either be free or incur a small ‘gap’ payment.

Accessing these resource pages and reading through them can give you lots of useful tips and tools.
